from my Toppy. It converts them into MPEG or demux into a host of other

I find that Streamclip is very efficient for editing and converting the
raw .ts files from my satellite box into .mpg files. Simply changing
the extension from .ts to .mpg is sufficient, however, to make the files
playable with the media player of my TV.

It requires quicktime

I use the free Quicktime Alternative.
