said one thing when they actually said something else is
if done knowingly and wilfully is just propagating lies.


Are you therefore saying Tebbit merely quoted his father without meaning
it to be a course of action he also recommended?


Suggesting that someone should seek work, by bicycle or other form of
transport, is not the same as telling someone to "Get on your bike!" which
is another way of saying, "**** off!"
