'My Stuff' on the 5800 is telling me it's out of date and no longer
supported so I thought I'd get the latest version.
The installer complains it can't communicate with the Toppy. Tried it on
a laptop running Win7 and a PC running XP. And different cables.

Have you tried communicating with the Toppy using Altair?

Don't even know what that is...

Is Win7 32 or 64 bit. you will need a different USB driver if it's
64bits.

As I said I tried it on two computers - one Win 7 and one XP. The
installer gives you the choice of XP or Vista.

Nothing much of relevance I can find on the Toppy forum.

Rather than using the toppy.org.uk own search engine use google instead
but use "toppy.org.uk" is the search string.

Thanks.
